Seaton House was acquired in Q1 2022 and is located in the centre of Stockport and only a 7 minute walk to Stockport train station, which has a direct line to both Manchester and London. The site is also in proximity to another One Heritage development, St Petersgate.
Seaton House is an existing office building with permitted development rights which would allow conversion into 12 apartments. One Heritage in the process of submitting a planning application for up to 30 apartments which will have a Gross Development Value of £5.6 million. Construction is expected to start upon successful planning and take 12 months, with completion expected in Quarter 4 2023.
Stockport is seeing significant investment and could outperform against the broader property market due to its excellent connectivity to both London and Manchester via train, its proximity to Manchester airport, and its access to the Peak District.
