Oscar House is located on the corner of Chester Road and Cleworth Street, Manchester. The site, formerly known as the ‘Bulls Head’ public house, will transform into a 5-storey building, comprising 27 self-contained apartments with a combination of of 1 and 2 bedrooms and associated car parking facilities.

The site was approximately 16,164 ft ² of unoccupied brownfield land bounded by Chester Road to the north-west, Cleworth street to the north-east, existing terraced housing and gardens to the south-east and public green space to the south-west. It is situated on the edge of Hulme ward forming part of the Central Manchester Strategic Regeneration area.

Oscar House is located in a prime residential area, less than a 5-minute drive from Manchester City Centre and with excellent public transport connectivity to both the city and the wider Greater Manchester boroughs. Cornbrook tram stop is just a 2-minute walk away.

Works are being undertaken with our principal contractor Winworth Construction, Innov8 project managers, Ollier Smurthwaite Architects, Civic Structural Engineers and RJD the principal designers.

The development is progressing on site with external works close to completing and moving towards completion later in 2022.
